Developer Internship Opportunity

DCS of New York Inc. - Shortsville, NY

To give the intern an opportunity to learn and practice web and software development technologies.
After this internship project, the intern will be able to do basic website development projects. Below is phase one of a two project internship. Upon completion of this Internship, DCS will give a reference and also consideration for future work/job shadowing opportunities.

Concepts Learned
•Installing/Configuring and Using an IDE

•Configuring and Connecting to GitHub

•Set up a web server, database server and connect these technologies Languages and technologies used

•PHP/Apache

•JavaScript/jQuery

•MySQL

•HTML/CSS/Bootstrap

•Git/GitHub

Prerequisites
•At least two computer/technology classes
•Two letters of reference or recommendation

 

Time Frame
•About 15-20 Hours/1-2 Weeks (Project 1)
